Urban Ministries Concerts

Charlotte Chamber Music has established a tradition of free concerts each season for the neighbors and staff of the Urban Ministry Center.  The Urban Ministry Center, an interfaith organization serving those who face homelessness and poverty is located at 945 North College Street in Uptown Charlotte.

Performing these concerts since 2004, Charlotte Chamber Music finds these concerts immensely rewarding not only for the neighbors at the center, but for the musicians and the opportunity to experience first-hand the powerful impact music can have on their neighbors. The chance to share life-renewing music that offers hope to those who are facing challenges is a privilege each year.

As part of Charlotte Chamber Music’s mission to inspire the community through outstanding chamber music, we can’t think of a better venue to share that mission.
